Custom T-Shirts in Providence, RI — No Minimums, No Hassle

At PVD Tees, getting a custom shirt printed is supposed to be easy. No sales calls. No minimum orders. No explaining why you only need one. Here's exactly how the process works from idea to doorstep.

Step 1: Create or Prepare Your Design

You bring the idea — we'll handle the printing. Your design can be anything: a phrase, a logo, a graphic, an inside joke, a tribute, a business name. Whatever it is, you'll need a digital file to upload.

What makes a good file:

  • Format: PNG is strongly preferred. PNG supports transparent backgrounds, so only your design prints — not a white box around it.
  • Resolution: 300 DPI minimum at print size. Low-resolution images print blurry. If you're designing in Canva, set your canvas to 4500 x 5400 pixels before you start.
  • Size: A standard front chest print area is roughly 12"–14" wide. Full front prints go up to 14" x 17".

Step 2: Choose Your Shirt

Go to the Custom T-Shirt page and select your options:

  • Style: Classic unisex or fitted — shown on the product page
  • Color: Wide range of shirt colors available. Light colors give you the most design flexibility; dark shirts are available but may affect color vibrancy.
  • Size: XS through 3XL depending on the blank selected

The product page has full size charts and blank details. When in doubt, the classic unisex in white is the most reliable for first-time custom orders.

Step 3: Upload Your Design & Add to Cart

On the product page, upload your PNG file, confirm your shirt options, and add to cart. You'll see a mockup of approximately how the print will look on the shirt. Review it carefully — check the placement, scale, and that there are no background issues. If something looks off, fix your file and re-upload before checking out.

Step 4: Check Out

Standard checkout. Enter your shipping address and payment. Orders ship anywhere in the United States. Expedited shipping is available if you need it fast.

There is no minimum order. One shirt is a complete, valid order. You're not paying a penalty for ordering small — you're just ordering what you actually need.

Step 5: We Print & Ship

  • Production: Your shirt is printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) technology — vivid, durable, and detailed.
  • Turnaround: Most orders ship within 3–5 business days.
  • Shipping: Standard delivery adds 3–5 days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Step 6: Receive Your Shirt

Your shirt arrives at your door, ready to wear. If there's ever a problem with the print quality or the product itself, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
